The Hawking-Differentiation Connection: A Coherent EFT Model for Horizon Dynamics and Spectral Anomalies
Abstract
This paper proposes a coherent model within the framework of effective field theory (EFT) to study black hole horizon dynamics and the spectrum of Hawking radiation. It proposes the introduction of an effective scalar field representing near-horizon microscopic structure, which interacts with Hawking radiation through a coupling dependent on spacetime curvature. The model shows that this interaction generates extremely small, yet calculable, non-thermal deviations in the Hawking spectrum, while fully preserving thermodynamic consistency and the generalized second law of thermodynamics. It also proposes a tripartite entanglement mechanism involving exterior radiation, interior partner modes, and the field, allowing information redistribution without invoking extreme scenarios such as firewalls.Although the predicted effects are practically unobservable for astrophysical black holes due to their extreme suppression, the model functions as a controlled mathematical laboratory for investigating how information may flow in semiclassical gravity.
