Vacuum Energy Suppression in Loop Quantum Gravity with Closure-Selected Deformation Level
Abstract
Loop Quantum Gravity incorporates a positive cosmological constant through quantum deformation of its gauge structure. This work shows that when the deformation level is selected by a symbolic fixed-point closure principle, the resulting quantum-deformed spinfoam amplitudes naturally suppress vacuum energy by an exponential factor consistent with observation. The deformation level is not chosen arbitrarily. It is selected from first principles by a fixed-point condition derived within the Quantum Entanglement Spacetime Theory (QuEST), which enforces global consistency between suppression, coherence, and symbolic structure. When this closure-selected deformation level is propagated through Loop Quantum Gravity’s native dynamics, it yields a vacuum energy density of the observed magnitude, a Hubble scale consistent with cosmological measurements, and stability under quantum corrections. The result is a two-stage resolution of the cosmological constant problem: symbolic closure selects the admissible deformation level, and Loop Quantum Gravity realizes the corresponding suppression of vacuum energy through its quantum-geometric amplitudes.
