A Completion Note on "Gravity Generated by Four One-Dimensional Unitary Gauge Symmetries and the Standard Model"
Abstract
This work provides a completion and clarification of the framework introduced in “Gravity Generated by Four One-Dimensional Unitary Gauge Symmetries and the Standard Model” by Partanen and Tulkki. While that work successfully reformulates gravity as a gauge-theoretic interaction compatible with the Standard Model, it intentionally leaves open foundational questions concerning time ordering, quantum measurement, and the selection of physical histories. We show that these open issues are resolved by embedding the gauge-gravity formulation within a stabilized proper-time structure and a record-consistent history-selection mechanism. Using the Presence–Residue–Alignment–Weighting (PRAW) formalism, quantum measurement is treated as forward-propagating constraint resolution rather than retrocausal influence, preserving causality without modifying quantum mechanics. Stabilized Proper Time (SPT) supplies a dynamically monotonic temporal parameter, ensuring consistent event ordering without reintroducing absolute spacetime. The resulting synthesis renders the gauge-theoretic gravity framework physically interpretable, causally stable, and free from retrocausal or observer-dependent ambiguities, while remaining fully compatible with both quantum field theory and relativistic limits.
