The Great Code: A Vision for Safe Experiential AI
Abstract
This whitepaper presents a conceptual framework for developing safe general intelligence through experiential learning. It proposes a staged approach where AI agents learn from high-fidelity simulations and real-world deployments, while being architecturally constrained to prevent harmful actions. By separating intelligence from agency and progressively composing verified capabilities across domains, the approach envisions AI systems that scale in capability while remaining safe. This document is intended as a visionary proposal to inspire discussion, research, and exploration in AI safety and autonomous systems.
