The Temporal Derivative of Selection: A Lemma on the Equivalence of Gödelian Incompleteness and the Axiom of Choice
Abstract
This paper resolves the long-standing independence of the Axiom of Choice (AC) by deriving it as a mandatory structural necessity of Time-Cadence. We demonstrate that AC and Gödel’s Incompleteness Theorems are functionally equivalent when viewed through a temporal lens. We prove that Incompleteness represents the unledgered potential of a system’s future, while AC serves as the mandatory selection operator required to ledger that potential into a coherent present. We show that the rejection of AC leads to an infinite verification loop, resulting in an energy bankruptcy that prevents physical existence.
