COLLEGE EVENTS SUFFER FROM POOR COORDINATION
Abstract
Abstract—Student engagement depends on the effective planning of academic and cultural events, but manual scheduling frequently results in poor coordination and communication. This paper describes the implementation of a centralized Event Management Portal that uses MySQL and Java technologies to automate campus activities. To expedite event announcements, secure online registrations, and dynamic participant data retrieval, the system uses a Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture. Functional testing confirms that the platform can eliminate data redundancy and drastically reduce administrative workload through a safe, user-friendly digital interface. Keywords—Web Application, Event Management, JSP, MVC Architecture, Online Registration, Database Systems Keywords: Web Application ,Event Management, JSP ,MVC Architecture, Online Registration, Database Systems
