Abstract

This article explores the formation and consolidation of national military ideology and examines its reflection in Azerbaijani literature as a powerful tool for shaping patriotism, moral resilience, and identity among cadets. Azerbaijani literary heritage—from classical patriotic narratives to contemporary war literature—plays a crucial role in constructing national spirit, reinforcing historical memory, and promoting devotion to the homeland. By analyzing key literary motifs such as heroism, sacrifice, loyalty, and the sanctity of national territory, the study highlights how literature not only documents historical struggles but also cultivates ideological consciousness and emotional commitment among future military officers. The article further discusses the pedagogical significance of integrating national literature into military education, arguing that literary exposure enhances cadets’ ethical awareness, national values, and psychological readiness. The findings suggest that the synthesis of military ideology and literary influence strengthens identity formation, fosters moral responsibility, and contributes to the development of ideologically firm and professionally prepared military personnel in Azerbaijan.
