Abstract

Heliocot is an open, reproducible segmentation-to-PLA workflow for top-down field RGB images of cotton. It converts instance segmentation masks into reference-area standardized projected leaf area (PLA) time series and supports quantifying diurnal canopy orientation dynamics.
