EINSTEIN'S FIELD EQUATIONS UNDER MECHANISM-ONLY ELIMINATION
Abstract
This paper applies a strict mechanism-only elimination framework to Einstein’s field equations to test whether spacetime curvature itself constitutes a physically enforcing agent. By admitting only localized energy–momentum exchange, locality, and reciprocal back-reaction as physically real mechanisms, the analysis removes geometric and mathematical attributions while retaining all experimentally observed gravitational interactions. The paper shows that gravitational phenomena remain fully enforced when spacetime curvature is treated purely as a descriptive representation, not an active cause. The result clarifies that Einstein’s field equations encode correlations and constraints on gravitational behavior but do not themselves enforce physical change, which arises instead from interaction-mediated energy–momentum exchange between physical systems.
