The Sedenion Stability Cusp: Geometric Baryogenesis and the Resolution of the Cosmological Lithium Problem
Abstract
Standard Big Bang Nucleosynthesis (BBN) has long suffered from significant tensions be-tween theoretical predictions and observational data, most notably the “Lithium Problem,”where the predicted abundance of 7Li exceeds observations by a factor of three. We present asolution to this anomaly within the framework of Axiomatic Physical Homeostasis (APH).We postulate that the early universe was not a fixed geometric background, but a dynamic al-gebraic fluid undergoing a Cayley-Dickson Cascade. We identify the epoch of Baryogenesiswith the thermodynamic phase transition from the Sedenion bulk (D = 16) to the Octonionicvacuum (D = 8), occurring at a critical temperature Tcusp ≈ 1.8 × 1018 GeV. We derive theGeometric Stiffness (β ≈ 1.91) of this transition and demonstrate how it modifies the nuclearHamiltonian. This stiffness naturally suppresses the formation of fragile isobars (specifically7Be), resolving the Lithium anomaly from first principles while preserving the successful pre-dictions for Helium and Deuterium.
