Abstract

FractalTextGuard-Online is a research and educational platform layer for FractalTextGuard Core. It provides a FastAPI-based interface, a minimal Web UI, and a benchmark runner for studying text structure using fractal and long-range dependence metrics (DFA/Hurst/LRD), entropy and repetition proxies. The platform intentionally isolates the offline Core via subprocess for security and reproducibility. ⚠️ Research-only: not suitable for high-stakes decisions (academic integrity, legal/forensic use). ⚠️ Unstable on short texts (< ~1000 tokens): expect wide uncertainty and higher false positives/negatives. ⚠️ Risk of false positives for neurodivergent writing styles and non-native speakers. ⚠️ No data storage by default; intended for local or controlled deployments. Core dependency (related work): FractalTextGuard Core (Zenodo DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.18207859)
