Abstract

NIA Denoise (Neural Inference Assistant) v1.0.0 is a standalone ImageJ/Fiji plugin that brings Deep Learning-based image denoising to bioimage analysis without the headache of configuring Python environments. v1.0.0 Release Highlights:NIA Denoise bridges the gap between advanced AI algorithms and daily lab routines: 🚀 Zero Python Required: Powered by ONNX Runtime (Java). No need to install Conda, PyTorch, or TensorFlow. Just download and run. 🧠 Built-in DnCNN Model: Comes with a pre-trained DnCNN (Denoising Convolutional Neural Network) model ready for immediate use on fluorescence microscopy data. 🔌 Custom Model Support: Advanced users can load their own .onnx models (e.g., for segmentation or super-resolution) directly through the GUI. ⚡ Batch & Multidimensional: Automatically handles Z-Stacks, Time-lapse, and Multi-channel images with real-time progress feedback. Key Features: User-Friendly GUI: Simple Swing-based interface with model selection and status monitoring. Smart Normalization: Automatic image normalization and contrast enhancement post-processing. Hardware Acceleration: Utilizes basic CPU optimizations for stable performance on standard lab computers. 📧 Contact & Support:For bug reports or feature requests:Kui WangEmail: k@cns.ac.cnInstitute: Center for Excellence in Brain Science and Intelligence Technology (CEBSIT), CAS
