tz-dev/PMS-AXIOM: PMS-AXIOM v1.0.0 — A Praxeological Cartography of Classical Closure-Demands Across the PMS Stack (Δ–Ψ)
Abstract
Overview This release introduces PMS-AXIOM as a fully specified cartographic case-suite paper within the Praxeological Meta-Structure (PMS) ecosystem. PMS-AXIOM is strictly grounded in the canonical PMS operator grammar as defined in PMS.yaml and does not modify, extend, reinterpret, or supplement any PMS operators, dependencies, or derived structures. All cases, signatures, and closure analyses presented in this repository are direct applications of the existing PMS grammar (Δ–Ψ) under explicitly framed closure-demands. The canonical source of truth for the operator system, dependency spine, validity conditions, and self-binding clauses referenced throughout this paper is: PMS Theory & Model Repository: https://github.com/tz-dev/Praxeological-Meta-Structure-Theory PMS-AXIOM positions classical philosophical and governance-relevant problems not as disputes about truth, ontology, or morality, but as structural closure-demands inside explicit frames (□) with identifiable residues (Λ), asymmetry distributions (Ω), temporal constraints (Θ), and binding risks (Ψ). As a cartographic artifact, PMS-AXIOM provides recognition, boundary-setting, and taxonomy—not intervention, resolution, or enforcement. It remains fully compliant with PMS validity conditions, including distance (Χ), reversibility, and dignity-in-practice (D). The repository functions as a stable analytical paper artifact—with Markdown, HTML, and PDF outputs plus a comprehensive YAML-based case suite—rather than as a method, toolkit, or governance framework. Core Contributions 1. Axiomatic Cartography (Structural, Not Ontological) Classical "axioms" and problem labels reconstructed as closure-demands Explicit distinction between: what can be structurally closed, what remains as Λ-residue, and where analysis must terminate Problems treated as praxeological configurations, not metaphysical theses 2. Uniform Case Artefact Standard Each case is compiled into a single, machine-readable structural artefact, including: explicit frame (□) closure-demand Λ-residue minimal operator chain (Δ–Ψ) optional overlay signatures drift risks admissible output type explicit stop-conditions This replaces assertion-driven discourse with inspectable, comparable artefacts. 3. Stack-Explicit Escalation Discipline PMS-AXIOM enforces a strict separation between: PMS (grammar) Overlay lenses (LOGIC, ANTICIPATION, CONFLICT, CRITIQUE, EDEN, SEX, QC/EXT) Downstream governance (MIP + optional AH) Movement between stack levels is treated as a substantive escalation, never as an interpretive convenience. 4. Misuse Resistance by Construction All cases enforce: PMS entry conditions (Χ + reversibility + D) explicit output-type declaration reader guards against authority laundering termination rules preventing moralization, diagnosis, or enforcement drift Case Suite (Complete Index) Part I — PMS Core Output: Boundary statements + structural taxonomies MIP: not used (optional only for responsibility) Personal identity over time Free will vs determinism Moral luck Universals Causality Time / Temporality Invariance Poincaré recurrence (structural) Freedom (non-metaphysical) Responsibility (Ψ under Θ/Ω) Truth (functional) Meaning / Sense Part II — PMS + LOGIC Output: Taxonomies + anti-drift policies MIP: optional (authority-risk only) Problem of induction Underdetermination Gettier problems Grounding regress Rule-following paradox Hermeneutic circle Truth theories Why philosophy seeks closure Dogmatism / Σ-totalization Explanation / closure drive Part III — PMS + ANTICIPATION Output: Calibration reports, boundary policies MIP: required under irreversibility Other minds (trust under Λ) Proper calibration of trust Forecasting without prophecy Reversible planning Irreversible commitments Downstream effects of decisions Part IV — PMS + CONFLICT Output: Tragedy formalisms, repair policies MIP: systematically applied Conflict as structural incompatibility Escalation vs repair Trolley dilemmas Tragedy as a category Structural injustice Dirty hands / forced choice Asymmetry lock-in Part V — PMS + CRITIQUE Output: Reach policies, disclosure rules MIP: standard Critique reach (micro → macro) Interpretability vs reality Epistemic injustice Legitimacy without authority Privacy vs publicness Part VI — PMS + EDEN Output: Regime taxonomies MIP: selective Pseudo-symmetry Recognition Trust (relational regimes) Boundary erosion Repair relationships Part VII — PMS + SEX (Guardrail-Only) Output: Validity gates MIP: mandatory (D0-relevant) Consent under asymmetry Consent laundering Boundary confusion Part VIII — PMS + QC (+ EXT) Output: Audit traces, governance constraints QC workflow governance (iteration depth) Oracle asymmetry audit Measurement and non-events Stabilised iteration (QSTABILIZE) What This Release Does Not Do ❌ No advice, tools, or interventions ❌ No prescriptions or best practices ❌ No moral judgments or diagnoses ❌ No implicit or explicit governance authority ❌ No operator extensions or reinterpretations PMS-AXIOM is cartography and boundary discipline only. Compatibility & Dependencies Depends on: Praxeological Meta-Structure (PMS_1.1) Compatible with: PMS-LOGIC, PMS-ANTICIPATION, PMS-CONFLICT, PMS-CRITIQUE, PMS-EDEN, PMS-SEX, PMS-QC Downstream only: MIP (+ AH), explicitly gated and not bundled No PMS operators are modified or extended. Intended Audience Structural theorists and philosophers Researchers working with non-psychological models of praxis Governance and policy analysts AI and systems researchers requiring explicit stop-conditions Readers interested in where analysis must end Release Integrity Statement This release was authored as a single coherent cartographic artifact with strict operator discipline, explicit misuse firewalls, and no retrofitted patches. Future releases, if any, will focus on: clarification hardening under public misuse, example-suite maintenance and aggregation discipline, cross-repository docking precision.
