Geometric Confinement from Torsion Flux Tubes: An Algebraic Unification of QCD and Gravity
Abstract
This paper presents a novel geometric interpretation of quark confinement within an algebraic framework unifying gravity and gauge interactions. We demonstrate that the QCD flux tube, responsible for quark confinement, is fundamentally identical to a torsion tube in spacetime geometry. The theory is built upon an extended Clifford algebra structure with orthogonal imaginary units separating gauge sectors. The key result shows that the torsion 2-form π π is proportional to the gluon field strength πΊπππ via π π = π½3 ππΊπππππ β§ ππ β§ ππ₯π β§ ππ₯π , establishing a direct geometric basis for confinement. The model predicts a string tension π β (440 MeV)2, linear potentials, and Regge trajectories while naturallyincorporating the Higgs mechanism and fermion masses through the same algebraic structure. We further demonstrate how the Nambu-Goto string action emerges from the geometric description of torsion flux tubes and reveal the topological nature of confinement through Stokesβ theorem applied to color flux quantization.
