Abstract

This working paper presents a diagnostic framework for analyzing stability and autonomy in nonlinear systems through phase alignment. It introduces phase lag (Φ) and the Ghost Pulse as diagnostic markers of phase-governance failure, with illustrative chemical and biological examples. This version is explicitly preliminary and diagnostic-only; no intervention or control mechanisms are proposed.
