What Is Mass? A Space-Phase (SP3) Perspective
Abstract
If inertia is understood as the effort required to break or reconfigure an existing spacephase alignment, then the traditional definition of mass as an intrinsic property of matterbecomes insufficient. This paper develops a conversational, physically intuitive explanationof mass within the Space-Phase-3 (SP3) framework, arguing that mass measures the extentand persistence of space-phase conditioning associated with an object. By reframing massas stored space-phase alignment rather than a primitive substance property, long-standingrelationships between mass, inertia, energy, and gravity become natural consequences ofspace-phase organization and stability.
