The WissZeitVG - A shortened translation

The WissZeitVG, the law that defines conditions for fixed-term employment in science (e.g., for PostDocs), is published only in German (https://www.gesetze-im-internet.de/wisszeitvg/index.html). To facilitate the discussion among international scientists, we have prepared a translation. Sentences and statements are shortened to enable a better flow of reading compared to German legal language. Some comments about the German original text are added in brackets.
