ZIPPED: A Parameter-Free Mechanical Coupling of Light Speed and Gravitation
Abstract
We present ZIPPED (Zwanenburg's Integrated Parameter-free Physics of Expansion and Dynamics), a unified mechanical framework that addresses the longstanding anomalies in galactic dynamics and cosmic expansion without invoking Dark Matter or fine-tuned Dark Energy. ZIPPED introduces a universal acceleration floor a_0 = c H_0 / 2\pi, derived from a direct coupling between the speed of light and cosmic expansion. This framework naturally explains the flattening of galactic rotation curves, the velocity boost in wide binary stars observed by Gaia DR3, and the formation of early massive galaxies detected by JWST. Importantly, integrating the energy density associated with the acceleration floor reproduces the observed Dark Energy fraction, \Omega_\Lambda \approx 0.7, providing a mechanical origin to the "Coincidence Problem." The manuscript includes: Full derivation of the ZIPPED coupling law. Definition and implications of the Zwanenburg Radius (R_Z) for stellar and galactic systems. Empirical validation using Gaia wide binaries and M31 rotation curves. Cosmological verification via energy density matching and CMB peak predictions. Python verification code for independent replication of all key results. Explicit falsifiability criteria, enabling rigorous testing against future observations. This work is intended for astrophysicists, cosmologists, and theoreticians interested in foundational revisions to gravitational theory, offering a parameter-free, fully testable alternative to LambdaCDM.
