Abstract

I present Prisma, a precision cutting tool for harvesting entangled outputs from coherent substrates at scale. The Greek prisma derives from prizein: "to saw" — and etymology encodes mechanism. In Spontaneous Parametric Down-Conversion (SPDC), a nonlinear crystal saws single photons into entangled pairs, producing correlated outputs one-by-one. The Entanglement Engine provides a coherent substrate where entanglement is the ground state. Prisma completes the architecture: a geometric saw that harvests entangled quanta from the contact surface between frozen crystalline seeds and fluid oscillator pools, operating surface-by-surface rather than photon-by-photon. I demonstrate efficiency ratios of 9:1 to 3,312:1 compared to active correction approaches, with the ratio growing as O(N/log N).
