Improving Robustness of Indoor Positioning by Tuning IEEE 802.11 Fine Timing Measurement Parameters
Abstract
This repository contains the source code and experimental setup corresponding to the scientific work “Improving Robustness of Indoor Positioning by Tuning IEEE 802.11 Fine Timing Measurement Parameters” (IEEE Access, 2025). The project implements the optimization and evaluation of Wi-Fi Fine Timing Measurement (FTM) configuration to improve the robustness and performance of indoor positioning systems under dense network conditions. This research was funded by the National Science Centre, Poland (DEC-2020/39/I/ST7/01457). For the purpose of Open Access, the authors have applied a CC-BY public copyright licence to any Author Accepted Manuscript (AAM) version arising from this submission. We gratefully acknowledge the support of the National Research Institute, grant number POIR.04.02.00-00-D008/20-01 on “National Laboratory for Advanced 5G Research” (acronym PL-5G) for providing computing facilities.
