Abstract

This working paper (WP-01) introduces a content-agnostic neurocognitive model of attentional fixation and narrative entrapment. The paper formalizes attentional collapse as a breakdown of attentional mobility and metacognitive regulation, independent of belief content. It integrates predictive processing, large-scale attentional network dynamics, and findings from radicalization and obsession research. This paper is part of the FRΛKTALJUMP / Digital Mirror Working Paper Series.
