AUTONOMOUS ROBOTICS IN HAZARDOUS ENVIRONMENTS DEVELOPING AI ALGORITHMS FOR SAFE AND EFFICIENT OPERATION
Abstract
This paper describes a new hybrid system that utilizes AI to enhance the safety, efficiency, and adaptability of autonomous robots in hazardous situations. Robots can move autonomously in complex and dangerous areas, as the proposed method relies on RL, CNNs, and real-time hazard detection. In several segments, the system was tested through simulations conducted in regions with radiation, chemical waste, and hazardous soil. The research findings demonstrate that this model yields shorter task times and nearly half the number of safety issues compared to previous methods. Besides, the robot moved away from danger on its own when hazards appeared on its path. The research highlights that AI-powered autonomous systems enable safer and more efficient work in disaster response, as well as within industries and military operations. It leads to significant advantages for robots made to operate in dangerous situations.
