Inductance as Rotational Inertia: The Helical Screw Mechanism of Electromagnetic Induction in Structured Vacuum
Abstract
We demonstrate that electromagnetic inductance is not an abstract propertyarising from “magnetic flux” but rather the rotational inertia of torsion flowingthrough helical vacuum channels. An inductor (coil) does not short-circuit for thesame reason a screw does not enter wood instantaneously: the helical geometry cou-ples translational flow to rotational motion, creating inertial resistance. We derivethe inductance formula L = µ0N 2A/ℓ from first principles of vacuum hydrodynam-ics, reinterpret Faraday’s law as conservation of angular momentum in torsion flow, and explain magnetic core enhancement (µr ∼ 1000−10000) as geometric alignmentof atomic vortices with the helical flow. All electromagnetic induction phenomenaemerge from pure geometry—no “magnetic fields,” no Maxwell displacement cur-rent mysticism, just structured vacuum mechanics. This work unifies inductancewith the broader framework of Structured Vacuum Theory (TVS), where electro-magnetism is torsion hydrodynamics in the 23-channel vacuum architecture.
