Abstract

After countless versions of this paper, attempting to prove the inconsistency of actual infinity—and hence of ℕ —may seem like an impossible task. Yet actual infinity is perhaps the strangest, most exotic, least concrete, and most unscientific concept there is. For this reason, confidence in demonstrating its inconsistency remains undiminished, and it is hoped that the reader will take up this challenge himself.
