Abstract

This research is linked to SDG 3, Good Health and Well-being. This goal specifically aims to promote mental health and well-being in the population, as well as reduce premature mortality from non-communicable diseases. The study focuses on the fact that stimulant consumption is a significant risk factor that hinders the sleeping quality among university students, which has been identified as a widespread and normalized practice in the local academic context. The research seeks to address this issue by contributing to the promotion of healthy habits and responsible, informed consumption within the university community. Consequently, the main objective of the study is to determine the relationship between energy drink consumption and sleep quality in university students in Chiclayo, 2025.
