Abstract

This dataset contains the full raw data and analysis scripts for the study investigating how short-term captivity duration and release timing influence early post-settlement survival, growth, and behaviour of Pomacentrus amboinensis in a Post-larval Capture, Culture, and Release (PCCR) framework. The files include survival monitoring data, interval-censored mortality records, behavioural observations, and growth measurements collected during controlled rearing and field-release experiments. All statistical analyses used in the manuscript (Kaplan–Meier survival curves, Cox and Weibull survival models, model comparison sequences, beta-regression behaviour analyses, and growth comparisons) are reproducible using the provided R scripts. Note: The R script in Version 1 contains an error. Please refer to Version 2 for the corrected code.
