Diabetes Mellitus: A Perspective on Cosmic Life Dynamic System
Abstract
English Introduction This article, "Diabetes Mellitus: A Perspective on Cosmic Life Dynamic System," proposes a revolutionary paradigm for understanding diabetes. It abandons the blood-glucose-centric linear medical model, instead examining the condition within the framework of a "Cosmic Life Dynamic System" rooted in the Huangdi Neijingand integrated with modern systems science. The core thesis is that diabetes is not an isolated biochemical anomaly but a systemic failure of the core pivot (corresponding to the spleen-pancreas functional complex) responsible for energy transformation and distribution within the human "microcosm." The fundamental pathogenesis is precisely defined as a dynamic chain of collapse: "Spleen-Earth transport failure → Yi-Wood failing to ascend → Jia-Wood failing to descend → Water and Fire failing to interact." All symptoms and complications are viewed as holographic manifestations of the same systemic rotational stagnation at different levels. Consequently, the article criticizes current treatment strategies aimed solely at glucose control as misdirected. It advocates for a true path to healing through "restoring the pivot and rotation," i.e., repairing the central transformative function and restarting the leftward and rightward rotation of life energy. This represents not only an upgrade in medical technology but also a meta-change in the cognitive paradigm, shifting from "indicator-centrism" to "function-centrism."
