Structural Selection: How Geometry Determines Admissible Physical States
Abstract
Structural selection is introduced as the mechanism by which geometry constrains admissible physical states prior to dynamics or force-based descriptions. We show that degeneracy, symmetry breaking, and state resolution arise from structural compatibility rather than causal intervention. This establishes selection as a geometric process, with forces acting only as secondary enforcement mechanisms. This record includes an accompanying framework overview file that provides reading context and scope clarification for the associated technical paper. The overview introduces no new claims and is included to guide interpretation and navigation of related works.
