Abstract

Abstract Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming central to university management as higher education institutions generate large, fragmented datasets from admissions systems, learning platforms, academic records, advising, finance, and human resources. AI enables these diverse data streams to be integrated and transformed into actionable intelligence that supports strategic planning, quality assurance, student success, and operational efficiency. These capabilities align directly with the core objectives of digital transformation in higher education institution (HEI) management, positioning AI as a critical infrastructure for evidence-based governance and sustainable institutional performance.
