MasatoMurai0111/OR6B1-LocusZoomplot: LocusZoom plots for OR6B1 GWAS

This repository documents the regeneration of LocusZoom plots shown in the manuscript: "OR6B1 Is an Acetaldehyde Receptor Contributing to Retronasal Freshness Perception". No new GWAS analyses were performed. LocusZoom plots were regenerated using publicly available GWAS summary statistics reported by Cole et al., Nature Communications (2020), based on UK Biobank data. The data were accessed via the Type 2 Diabetes Knowledge Portal (https://www.kp4cd.org). Plots visualize the genomic region surrounding OR6B1 for the following dietary traits: Fresh fruit intake (UK Biobank trait: pieces of fresh fruit per day) Dried fruit intake (pieces of dried fruit per day) Bread intake (slices of bread per week) Butter consumption (spread type: butter vs. never) LocusZoom plots were generated using standard LocusZoom settings for linkage disequilibrium estimation. This repository is provided solely to ensure transparency and reproducibility of figure generation.
