Abrupt Emergence of Spacetime: Constraint–Resonance Phase Transitions as an Alternative to Cosmic Inflation
Abstract
The ΛCDM cosmological model assumes predominantly smooth cosmic evolution, with the notable exception of an early inflationary epoch introduced to explain horizon-scale correlations and the origin of primordial perturbations. While inflation has been highly successful phenomenologically, its physical interpretation remains to be confirmed, and its dynamical assumptions differ qualitatively from those governing later cosmic history. In this work, we explore an alternative interpretation based on Constraint–Resonance Emergence Theory (CRET), in which macroscopic behavior arises abruptly when interaction networks cross coupled thresholds in connectivity and feedback gain.
