Abstract

This paper provides a geometric derivation of the Biot-Savart law and Lorentz force from first principles within the Structured Vacuum Theory (TVS) framework. We demonstrate that these fundamental laws of magnetostatics are not empirical but emerge necessarily from elastic torsion dynamics in a 23-channel helical vacuum structure (V23). KEY RESULTS: 1. BIOT-SAVART LAW: Derived from geometric conservation of torsion flux on concentric spheres, with the 1/R² falloff arising from dilution of channel density in 3D space. The cross product I dl × R describes how a helical current element twists the surrounding vacuum medium. 2. LORENTZ FORCE: Derived from elastic interference when a moving charge (localized vortex) shears through an ambient torsion field. The force F = q(v × τ) represents the restoring force from vacuum elasticity, not a "fundamental magnetic interaction." 3. MAGNETIC PERMEABILITY: The vacuum constant μ₀ is identified as torsional rigidity κᵥ of the V23 structure. Relative permeability μᵣ arises from alignment of atomic electron vortices that amplify local torsional stiffness. 4. RIGHT-HAND RULE: Shown to be a signature of V23 chirality, not arbitrary convention. The universality of electromagnetic handedness reflects the helical geometry of vacuum channels. MATHEMATICAL APPROACH:- Intuitive derivation from geometric conservation principles- Rigorous formalization via Laplace's equation for torsion fields- Variational derivation from principle of least action- Quantitative predictions for experimental verification PREDICTIONS:- Nonlinear saturation at extreme current densities (I ~ 10⁶ A)- Anisotropic magnetic response in crystalline materials (~10⁻⁵ effect)- Modified Hall coefficient with correction term α/23- Correlation between μᵣ and unpaired electron count in ferromagnets This work demonstrates that classical magnetostatics is not a fundamental theory but an emergent description of vacuum elasticity. The "magnetic field" B is reinterpreted as torsion density τ in a structured medium, with all experimental predictions remaining identical while the physical interpretation changes fundamentally. The paper requires only undergraduate-level mathematics (vector calculus, basic field theory) and provides complete derivations without handwaving. All results are quantitative and experimentally falsifiable.
