Atg16l2 activation in human ulcerative colitis.
Abstract
Atg16l1 was identified, following discovery of NOD2, as a second major inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) susceptibility allele in humans with Crohn's Disease. We describe here activation of Atg16l2 in humans with the IBD ulcerative colitis.
