Abstract

This repository contains data from regional aerosol-climate simulations using the weather and climate model ICON coupled with the aerosol module HAM-lite 1.0, as well as aerosol observations and Jupyter notebooks, as used for the figures presented in the journal publication by Heinold et al.: ICON coupled to HAM-lite 1.0 in limited-area mode: an efficient framework for targeted kilometer-scale simulations with interactive aerosols, submitted to Geosci. Model Dev. The data includes final results from three case studies: PM2.5 pollution over Germany, Mar 2019 Sea salt aerosol in the Atlantic Arctic, Apr 2020 Australian bushfire smoke and desert dust, Dec 2019
