Abstract

This release contains the code used to produce the analyses and global plant trait maps presented in Lusk et al. (2026). The framework integrates citizen science observations (GBIF), vegetation surveys (sPlot), and trait measurements (TRY) with Earth observation data to generate maps of 31 plant functional traits at up to 1 km² resolution.
