VAULT v1.1 — Core Validation Addendum: Null Stress, Epoch Acceleration Bounds, and Boundary Closure
Abstract
This record completes the core validation of VAULT v1.1 through three strictly additive tests. No core methods, mathematics, assumptions, or frozen theorems are modified. Canonical definition of VAULT v1.1VAULT v1.1 is defined exclusively by the following Zenodo records:• Core architecture: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18187127• Full-sky motion detection: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18105415• Exact astrometric exclusion bounds: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18159251 All results herein operate under this definition. Any future work is classified as extension or application-layer only. A2 — Full-Sky Random Null Stress (N = 100) One hundred random full-sky null realizations were generated using identical Gaia DR3 selection effects, sky coverage, and sample size as the real-sky analysis. The unchanged VAULT v1.1 detection pipeline was applied to each null realization, including hostile transformations. In all cases, apparent structure collapsed. No null realization reproduced the global directional coherence observed in the real sky (p < 0.01), excluding chance alignment as an explanation. A1 — Epoch Acceleration Tightening Multi-epoch Gaia astrometry was used to evaluate epoch-to-epoch proper-motion differences. No persistent global or regional directional coherence survives hostile transformations. This yields an upper bound on any coherent transverse acceleration below the epoch-resolved sensitivity threshold, excluding hidden large-scale accelerative structure without introducing force models or fitted dynamics. A3 — Boundary and Edge Sensitivity Audit The sky was partitioned into multiple overlapping regions spanning survey interiors, boundaries, and masked areas. Directional coherence persists across overlapping partitions and reproduces the full-sky result. No enhancement correlated with survey edges or masks is observed, excluding boundary-driven artifacts. Conclusion Together, these tests close the remaining statistical, physical, and procedural objections to the VAULT v1.1 core framework. No further core validation is required. All future work under VAULT v1.1 is extension or application-layer only.
