REALITY IS NOT BUILT FROM PARTICLES OR FIELDS; IT IS BUILT FROM SPACE-PHASE; HOW SPACE-PHASE LOOKS WHEN CONSTRAINED IS WHAT WE CALL PARTICLES AND WAVES
Abstract
Modern physics rests on a conceptual split between particles and fields. This division hasproven mathematically powerful but ontologically misleading. In this paper, we argue thatboth particles and waves are not fundamental constituents of reality but descriptiveartifacts arising from a deeper substrate: space-phase. Matter corresponds to saturated, persistent configurations of space-phase, while radiation and wave-like phenomenacorrespond to redistributed or transient configurations. What has historically been labeled“wave–particle duality” is not a duality at all, but a spectrum of constraint states of spacephase. This paper adopts a conversational tone to clarify how long-standing paradoxesdissolve once space-phase is treated as the acting medium rather than particles or fields. The result is a reframing that preserves empirical physics while correcting its metaphors.
