A Conceptual Skeleton for the Emergence of Structure in a Meta-Relational Setting
Abstract
This paper introduces and analyzes a matrix-valued dynamical system driven by the matrix hyperbolic sine of the commutator, dX/ds = sinhmat([U(s), X]), where U(s) is a piecewise-constant skew-symmetric generator from so(3). The choice of sinhmat is structurally motivated: it is the unique elementary odd function satisfying f(0) = 0 with unbounded growth, ensuring zero drive at zero commutator, antisymmetry under commutator reversal, and no identity-term contamination. The central result is an exact decomposition of the holonomy displacement along closed loops into a classical adjoint part — given by conjugation via the path-ordered exponential — and genuinely new sinh nonlinear corrections expressed as odd nested commutator integrals, scaling as O(‖X₀‖³_F). Exact equilibria are characterized as the centralizer of the generator image, proven to reduce to scalar multiples of the identity for irreducible representations via Schur's lemma. The framework is extended rigorously to unbounded self-adjoint operators on Hilbert space using a semigroup reformulation, yielding a globally well-posed ODE on B(H) with solutions bounded by ‖X₀‖_F · eᵗ. Numerical verification is carried out in two settings: the so(3) rotation algebra and a qubit quantum gate synthesis problem. Sinh corrections exceed 8% of the classical adjoint holonomy at moderate coupling g ≈ 0.5, scaling as g^3.81, consistent with the theoretical cubic leading order. Non-Abelian dependence on loop traversal order is also demonstrated.
