The Three-Body Structure of Informational Recursion: Interpretive Grounding of ORM as a Continuous Admissibility Process
Abstract
This document provides a formal interpretive bridge within the Unified Recursion Theory (URT) framework, clarifying the structural role of the Oscillation Recursion Mirror (ORM) without introducing new operators, dynamics, or physical laws. Unified Recursion Theory describes irreversible physical processes through a fixed operator structure consisting of a conserving operator, a compressive operator, and an admissibility evaluator (ORM). While this structure has been applied consistently across quantum measurement, thermodynamics, chemistry, biology, gravitation, and cosmology, questions naturally arise regarding why admissibility must be continuously evaluated and why recursion efficiency is universally bounded below unity. The present work addresses these questions by identifying a universal three-constraint structure underlying all URT-governed systems:(1) energy relaxation,(2) entropy production, and(3) structural coherence quantified by informational stiffness. These constraints are mutually incompatible in static equilibrium. No physical system can simultaneously minimize energy, maximize entropy, and preserve coherence at finite temperature. As a result, irreversible recursion cannot terminate in a stationary state and must proceed through continuous admissibility evaluation. ORM is thereby grounded as an always-active constraint evaluator, rather than a discrete collapse mechanism, control force, or new dynamical law. This document does not modify the URT proportionality law, the definition of recursion efficiency, the stiffness field, or the operator algebra established in prior URT papers. Instead, it provides a structural explanation for why recursion efficiency must remain bounded, why equilibrium is forbidden, and why ORM operates continuously across all physical domains. The three-body interpretation presented here is strictly interpretive. It introduces no additional equations, no optimization principles, and no hidden dynamics. Its role is to stabilize interpretation across the URT paper family, support Tier-3 and Tier-4 particle-domain analyses, and prevent misclassification of ORM as a physical interaction or control mechanism. This work serves as a conceptual foundation and citation anchor for ongoing URT research, including quantum measurement theory, free-energy landscape geometry, stiffness-wave dynamics, biological efficiency studies, and cosmological extensions.
