Granular Space-Time with Threshold Dynamics: Core Conceptual Claims and Testable Signatures
Abstract
This work introduces a unified conceptual framework based on a granular, threshold-regulated structure of space-time.Its primary purpose is to explicitly assert a coherent set of original conceptual claims and to establish a time-stamped public record of intellectual priority. The framework proposes that space-time consists of fundamental granular units capable of storing energy up to a critical threshold. When this threshold is reached, stored energy is converted into geometric volume through discrete transition events. This mechanism is argued to underlie a broad range of phenomena across quantum physics, gravitation, and cosmology. Core claims advanced in this work include:– emergent cosmological expansion without a fundamental cosmological constant,– effective origins of dark-matter phenomenology from environment-dependent gravity,– physical resolution of classical singularities,– active black-hole horizons converting energy into geometry,– emergence of time from geometric growth,– regulation of vacuum energy and the Higgs vacuum through space-time thresholds,– saturation of gravitational-wave emission in strong-field regimes with strictly luminal propagation,– threshold-based origins of quantization, wave-function collapse, and the Born rule. In addition to these conceptual claims, the work identifies a minimal, falsifiable observational signature: a localized excess (“bump”) in the weak-lensing convergence power spectrum at intermediate multipoles, testable by upcoming surveys. Additional qualitative observational consequences are summarized across cosmology, gravitational-wave physics, and early galaxy formation. This article does not aim to provide a complete effective field theory, numerical simulations, or a unique explanation for all cosmological anomalies. Instead, it explicitly defines a conceptual framework and clear observational targets. The absence of a full quantitative realization does not affect the conceptual priority of the claims stated herein. Whether ultimately validated or falsified, this deposit is intended to define a clear conceptual landscape and to make the original ideas publicly attributable and citable.
