Abstract

This work presents a foundational framework in which time, causality, and spacetime geometry emerge from a discrete growth process defined by an advancing boundary at the Planck scale. Within a loop-quantum–inspired setting, the model treats time as a counting parameter associated with layer deposition, while invariant light speed arises as a geometric consequence of boundary growth rather than a primitive postulate. The framework is applied to cosmology, where quantum-gravity constraints motivate a dynamical topological transition leading to a compact toroidal geometry, offering unified interpretations of cosmic expansion, anisotropies, and particle structure without continual parameter retuning. The manuscript is intended as a preprint for archival timestamping and community discussion.
