LLM Buddy: A Computer-Aided Method Engineering Tool for LLM-Augmented Research
Abstract
A Computer-Aided Method Engineering (CAME) tool for documenting LLM-augmented research through prompt-centric auditable development. LLM Buddy captures prompts and responses from all major LLM services via a Chrome extension, HTTPS proxy, Claude Desktop MCP integration, or manual entry, and stores them in a unified local database alongside file associations, auto-backups, and research session metadata.
