Pdcd4 silencing in ulcerative colitis.
Abstract
We recently demonstrated control of PD-L1 by human NOD2 and silencing of TIGIT in humans with the inflammatory bowel disease Crohn's Disease, and characterized members of the PDCD family as components of the exhaustion program that possessed functions in the senescence program. We report here discovery of silencing of a PDCD family receptor in humans with the inflammatory bowel disease ulcerative colitis, encoded by PDCD4.
