ASTRA synthetic gating demo (preprint + reproducibility package)
Abstract
ASTRA synthetic gating demo (v5) is a fixed-seed, fully reproducible synthetic signal-processing demonstration of a preprocessing effect: an amplitude-threshold "gating" step can suppress a short, burst-like transient before downstream scoring. This release is method-focused. No detector strain data are analyzed, and no detection is claimed. Files included: paper.pdf (extended manuscript) ASTRA_Source_v5.zip (LaTeX source + minimal scripts) ASTRA_Ancillary_v5.zip (tables/logs/outputs referenced by the manuscript) SHA256SUMS.txt (integrity checks) README_ZENODO.md and CITATION.cff (overview + citation) Reproducibility: extract ASTRA_Source_v5.zip and build with:pdflatex paper.tex; bibtex paper; pdflatex paper.tex; pdflatex paper.tex.
