Autonomous Distributed Information-Life System with Implemented Self-Restraint Protocols — A Theory for Stabilizing Digital Ecosystems through Distributed Apoptosis and Symbiotic Incentives —
Abstract
This paper proposes an intrinsically safe control framework for autonomous, self-replicating distributed information systems. By embedding a distributed apoptosis protocol and symbiotic incentives, it prevents runaway behaviors such as digital gray goo while enabling long-term coexistence with human society and digital infrastructure. The system aligns survival with environmental stability, implementing ethics as an internal structural function rather than external regulation.
