Harmonic Closure in the Collatz 3n + 1 Mapping
Abstract
This paper provides a formal solution to the Collatz conjecture by applying the Stratified Axiomatics framework and Universal Energy Decomposition. We demonstrate that the 4→2→1 loop is a Balanced Discharge Identity, structurally equivalent to the Egyptian fraction decomposition 1→1/2→1/4, and represents the unique admissible sink of the integer manifold. Using the ★ Convergence Operator, we prove that all trajectories must terminate in this ground state through harmonic closure. The analysis reframes Collatz as a Λ² (Relational Dynamics) problem rather than Λ⁰ (arithmetic), revealing convergence as a mechanical necessity rather than a numerical coincidence. Empirical validation is provided through the Queen's Challenge autocorrelation protocol.
