Data and Code for The Disappearing Quasi-Biennial Oscillation under Sustained Global Warming

This repository provides the data and code for The Disappearing Quasi-Biennial Oscillation under Sustained Global Warming. FW_noQBO.zip and FW_yesQBO.zip contain experiments performed with CESM1–WACCM. In FW_noQBO.zip, the QBO is absent in the tropical stratosphere, whereas FW_yesQBO.zip includes a tropical stratospheric QBO. xCO2_CESM2-WACCM.zip contains CO₂-multiplication sensitivity experiments performed with CESM2–WACCM; the file names indicate the prescribed CO₂ level as a multiple of the pre-industrial concentration. xCO2_TEM.zip provides the TEM-budget diagnostics derived from these CO₂-multiplication sensitivity experiments. code.zip contains the scripts used in this study. source_data.zip contains the source data underlying all figures presented in the article.
