ZIP Cosmology v2.0: An Entropic–Informational Framework for Physical Reality
Abstract
ZIP Cosmology v2.0 presents a consolidated formulation of the ZIP framework in which information is treated as a structural principle of physical reality, while entropy provides its physical and operational manifestation. This work supersedes the ZIP Cosmology v1.x series, including the original foundational paper (Zenodo record 18241166). ZIP Cosmology v2.0 introduces the ZIP Entropic Postulate, explicitly linking information to local deviations from maximal entropy and interpreting physical phenomena as outcomes of entropic relaxation within spacetime. ZIP Cosmology v2.0 does not propose new particles or forces. Instead, it offers a coherent interpretative framework compatible with thermodynamics, quantum field theory, quantum information, holography, and entropic approaches to gravity. Energy, particles, and radiation are treated as emergent descriptors rather than fundamental primitives. This work serves as the primary reference framework for current and future ZIP developments.
