Convergent Mathematical Foundations of Hydrodynamic Quantum Gravity - Seven Independent Frameworks, One Physical Reality
Abstract
The Standard Model of particle physics contains a set of empirically fixed inputs—particle masses, mixing parameters, and coupling constants—that are not derived within the model’s present formulation. This preprint surveys a programme of structural correspondences in which several mathematical frameworks, developed independently and for unrelated purposes, reproduce patterns that resemble Standard Model regularities (e.g., hierarchical spectra, three-family structure, and mixing behaviour). The aim is comparative and evidential: to state each proposed mapping explicitly, distinguish strict identities from analogies or parameter-matched correspondences, and identify where the programme remains incomplete. Seven frameworks are discussed: nonlinear wave theory (Sine–Gordon breathers and related soliton spectra), condensed-matter effective field theory (including transverse/shear collective modes in Fermi liquids), algebraic topology (topological charges associated with defect or Fermi-point structures), geometric circle relations (Descartes circle theorem connections to empirical mass relations), classical coupled-oscillator normal modes (as analogues of mixing matrices), lattice/phonon band-structure motifs, and information-theoretic bounds (used in exploratory derivations of dimensionless constraints). Throughout, “vacuum as a medium” is treated in the modern effective-theory sense—i.e., a dynamical vacuum with medium-like behaviour in certain limits—without assuming a classical preferred-frame ether. Illustrative correspondences surveyed include: (i) the published geometric reformulation of the Koide lepton relation in terms of a Descartes circle identity (with the mapping stated explicitly in the cited literature), (ii) coupled-oscillator demonstrations that reproduce aspects of mixing-matrix structure at the level of normal-mode transformations, and (iii) the appearance of quadrupolar (ℓ = 2) shear/collective-mode mathematics in condensed-matter systems that is formally similar to spin-2 tensor structures used in gravitational-wave modelling. The manuscript also reviews topological arguments that naturally yield threefold splitting patterns under symmetry breaking and discusses the extent to which these motifs are generic versus distinctive. The paper does not claim that any single correspondence establishes a microscopic theory of the vacuum or replaces the Standard Model. Rather, it proposes that the repeated emergence of similar mathematical structures across independent formalisms motivates targeted scrutiny of specific links. Where claims are tentative or await independent verification, they are labelled as such. The manuscript concludes with open problems and discriminating tests, including predictions proposed within the associated HQG series. This preprint is intended as a mathematical/epistemic companion within the Hydrodynamic Quantum Gravity (HQG) collection, and is designed to support critique and replication of individual correspondences rather than “all-or-nothing” acceptance.
