Directional Vacuum Rectification via Zeno-Modulated Casimir Cavities in High-Stiffness Lattices
Abstract
Recent high-precision cosmological surveys have identified a statistically significant dipole tension (>4.9σ) in the distribution of quasars and a coherent bulk flow of galaxy clusters toward the Centaurus-Hydra region. We propose that these anisotropies represent a physical scalar gradient in the Vacuum Expectation Value (VEV). This paper presents a theoretical framework for coupling to this gradient using a Zeno-modulated Casimir cavity. By subjecting a piezoelectric lattice to femtosecond interrogation pulses, we induce a localized impedance mismatch that rectifies the potential energy of the vacuum gradient into macroscopic force (F). We derive the governing equation F = κ · P_dyn · A · D, where κ represents the phonon transmission coefficient. We further demonstrate that the thermodynamic cost of this rectification is satisfied via the Landauer limit, preserving the Second Law of Thermodynamics.
